Cuti Cuti Sabah part 3: Manukan & Tamu Gaya

We started day 2 late.saja bagi chance kat Muhriz tido lama sebab semlm kene bgn awal dah.So mama sempat lah masak bekal utk bawak gi Manukan (nasi goreng,udang/sotong goreng tepung)dan juga masak dinner siap2 asam pedas ikan merah,telor dadar,udang goreng kunyit.1030am gerak to Tamu Gaya,ingat nak amik bus tapi bile keluar Centerpoint singgah sebab nak beli payung,la dekat jek dari situ,so jalan saje.Warning,this market is super packed with stalls and people.U can get almost everything here from local crafts product to even pets,yerp asik bunyi puppies jer,poor doggy!This Sunday market starts as early as 6am sampai noon,we reached there around 11am,pon masih ramai huhu.Dah la panas,so sudahnya mmg susah lah!Anak merengek nak dukung ketat2 and forbid parents from stopping at any stall.So we just passed through,tapi i mmg aim nak beli brooches kat sini dah,so berenti jugak la kat satu gerai jual brooches and other mutiara stuff nie,main hambik je.pricewise macam tak beza pon dgn pasar filipina or maybe i didnot bargain hard enough.tak kuasa la kan sebab nak cepat.

Lepas tamu gaya,walked further jumpa 7eleven,aa masuk sini beli air.Budak kecik mood ok semula kih kih mmg tak bulis panas langsung awak nie ye adik?From Tamu Gaya to Jesselton point pon tak jauh dah,dlm 3 blocks.Sampai je cari tickets.You should see lots of counters selling packages to the islands.tgk first 2 counters price die sama je for 1 island RM23 utk return trip.Then org counter no 5 approached us ckp diorang nye boat nak gerak dah,kasi cincai la RM15 je sorang pergi balik.So we ended up paying RM15x2(boat fees)+RM7.20x2(Jetty fee)+RM10(1 set of snorkelling mask+life jacket)+RM3x2(entrance to TAR marine park).Yg last one tue bayar kat pulau.Nanti ckp lah kat diorang what time you nak balik.Should you change your mind and wante to come back earlier or later kene call boatman.Naik speedboat was not something new,dah snorkelling di Perhentian,Redang(yg nie lagi lama naik boat for 45mins from mainland!).Manukan ni dekat je,boat ride took just 20mins but with an active toddler,i wished the island was nearer.Should have expect this sebab masa gi Langkawi pon die tak dok diam even 1 min dlm ferry tue,tapi itu ferry takpe lah.Tapi Allah permudahkan,kejap je cranky nye,tak sampai 5 mins die tertido.What was an unforgettable experience was riding the speedboat in rainstorm on the way back,cuak bangat kitorang.Muhriz nasib baik tido,muka basah2 kene hujan pon die still tido hehe.Tapi selamat sampai jetty alhamdulillah even basah lencun.Owh anyway,sila bawak bekal,kat island ade 1-2 je kedai makan and the food price almost double,biasa la tue kan.Di Jetty tue byk restaurant kalau tak masak sendiri pon.

Manukan has got what other beautiful tropical islands offer you;crystal clear water,white sandy beach dan ikan yg byk swim sampai ke betul2 tepi pantai,yg ikan dekat sgt dgn pantai ni takde kat Redang or Perhentian.Tapi sadly according to hubby(die sorang je pergi snorkelling),coral die was not that many and pretty,kalau ade pon byk dah mati.I think this is due to the close location to the mainland,itu yg ada kutip corals dan jual kat market!Spent 4 hours on the island,rase kejap je!Panas2 pon mandi jugak,sudahnya muhriz sekarang lagi tan dari mama hehe.So rasanya Redang is still the most beautiful island we've been to so far.I initially wanted to go to Sapi sebab was told that Sapi is the most beautiful with least visitors among all the 5 islands in Tmn Tun Abd Rahman marine park nie(Manukan,Gaya,Sapi,Mamutik,lagi satu lupa nama) tapiii Sapi ada biawak besar hahaha

Mlm pulak pegi Pasar Malam Kg Air,tambah few more brooches.sini mmg paling murah so far.lepas tue had supper kat Mc D,itu je la kot sekali makan kat luar huhu.Off to bed early sebab penat dan esok nak gi Kundasang pulak
