Al-fatihah to Arwah and you can read her full story here
Owh donot start with jgn sebab nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga.Or alaa,Malaysia pon tak aman jugak.
What if the situation is reversed, say the victim was a Westerner,rasa2 nya satu dunia heboh! The fact is,the hate crimes against Muslims are forever overlooked by the Westeners!
Here's a similar case reported in the States but the lady was lucky --->Man says threats against Muslims were to 'defend America'.
Let me share my experience, might be nothing compared to those 2 ladies' deadly nightmare but somehow made feel so closed to them.
1.Back in the States, penah kene shout to take off my scarf as i was passing by an American frat.
Lepas tue penah juga sampai 3 kali kene bukak scarf kat airport.
2.Last month in Paris, when we're lost while looking out for Metro station somewhere near Pampidou,a very kind sister came over and offered to lead the way.I hesitated at first because i was afraid she might missed her bus.But she insisted (and of course missed her bus) because according to her, that area is unsafe for Muslims.Takot pulak dgr so saya setuju lah.
3.Kat Munich Hauptbahnhof(railway station)pulak, pernah dlm ramai2 manusia tue, police tahan daku pulak nak check passport**konon random pick**.Hubby dan saya baru turun train from Augsburg and that train shared the same platform dgn train from Zurich. So police2 tue nak sedapkan hati saya, die ckp die ingat saya naik train Zurich (from Swiss so kene la check passport).Tipu!Kalau dari Zurich takkan la tak bawak luggage or at least backpack, macam la tatau pilih sebab pakai tudung =(
It was while Marwa el-Sherbini was in the dock recalling how the accused had insulted her for wearing the hijab after she asked him to let her son sit on a swing last summer, that the very same man strode across the Dresden courtroom and plunged a knife into her 18 times.
Her three-year-old son Mustafa was forced to watch as his mother slumped to the courtroom floor.
Even her husband Elvi Ali Okaz could do nothing as the 28-year-old Russian stock controller who was being sued for insult and abuse took the life of his pregnant wife. As Okaz ran to save her, he too was brought down, shot by a police officer who mistook him for the attacker. He is now in intensive care in a Dresden hospital.
While the horrific incident that took place a week ago tomorrow has attracted little publicity in Europe, and in Germany has focused more on issues of court security than the racist motivation behind the attack, 2,000 miles away in her native Egypt, the 32-year-old pharmacist has been named the "headscarf martyr".
Sherbini, a former national handball champion, and Okaz, a genetic engineer who was just about to submit his PhD, had reportedly lived in Germany since 2003, and were believed to be planning to return to Egypt at the end of the year. They were expecting a second child in January.
Unemployed Alex W. from Perm in Russia was found guilty last November of insulting and abusing Sherbini, screaming "terrorist" and "Islamist whore" at her, during the Dresden park encounter. He was fined ¤780 but had appealed the verdict, which is why he and Sherbini appeared face to face in court again.
Even though he had made his anti-Muslim sentiments clear, there was no heightened security and questions remain as to why he was allowed to bring a knife into the courtroom.
They said that although there was no question that the attack was racially motivated, the debate in Germany had concentrated more on the issue of the lack of courtroom security. "I think the facts speak for themselves," Kramer said. The victim's brother, Tarek el-Sherbini, labelled Germany as a "cold" country when interviewed by a popular talk show host. Media pundits such as Abdel Azeem Hamad, editor of the daily al-Shorouk newspaper, have attributed the western media's disinterest in the story to racism, arguing that if Sherbini had been Jewish the incident would have received much greater attention.

oh gawd.
the world is very unfair to us muslims.
what hijab got to do with us being a normal human being?
kalau kite boleh respect every other religions, irregardless of how weird and even stupid at times, why couldnt they respect ours?
I could go on and on psl ni. Tapi believe me bukan mat salleh je prejudice against us, kat m'sia pun. It seems that hijab somehow made us stupid and uneducated or even poor.
