Back and breathing!

Sent my sister to the Munich Airport yesterday morning.So now we're back to our old routine.Not for long though,in laws are coming in 2 weeks time,nanti we will travel to UK and Spain again with them.
Baby?So far Alhamdulillah ok je naik turun flights,trains,buses; a future globetrotter nie,kan baby kan?:)

20.02 !

Tak ade mood nak blog but 20 February is a special date for us,so i just have to write this down.

Happy 8th anniversary abg/hubby/yayang/dek!8 years ago!

Hahaha yerp i call hubby macam-macam,sesuka hati,sesedap rasa ;p
Eh no,no,bukan wedding but courtship anniversary ya,takot ade yg ingat kami kawen umur 18+;p
Though there's no more fancy celebration for this date and we have passed the stage of celebrating monthly anniversary,who could have forgotten the day you found out that your hearts are connected.In our case,the proposal day too.Yes,instead of asking me out for the first date,hubby terus asked me to marry him!Nervous sgt sampai ajak kawen;p
So there's no surprise when we really got married 4 years later.
Anyway,fast forward,these 8 years has been wonderful alhamdulillah and i am delighted that we are still in our honeymoon stage ngeh ngeh.May our bonds strengthen and stay untarnished,aminn.

Okie,update on the baby.Alhamdulillah dah 14 weeks!
Normal ke your weight fluctuates in the 1st trimester?Kejap naik 4kg,
kejap i lost 1kg ;p.
Last checkup was 2 weeks ago and everything is ok alhamdulillah.Nampak baby tgh happy swimming hehe.
Hubby has decided the name,it's either baby M or baby H.
The naming criteria is simple;hubby wants all of his children to have meaningful single and simple names because he wants them to be called by their full names,bukan macam nama mama yang panjang nie yer,last-last panggil Ami or Mie jer ;p

And baby M/H,look what is your father going to get you!He said you have no choice but to join him with the Reds.Meluntur buluh biar dari rebungnya?ish ish mangsa keadaan.

Alhamdulillah,baby is entering its 7th week.EDD is August 2010 so this little one will be a nice 4th wedding anniversary gift for us.No,it's more than that,it's the most awaited gift of our marriage.When i found out,it was 4.30 am!I just could not believe it, so i ran to hubby and woke him up.Hubby,who usually needs more than 15 mins to gain his consciousness,straight away jumped out of the bed and hugged me ;p.The news kept us awake for the next 2 hrs.I've been storing pregnancy and baby info ever since we got married and when i saw the positive sign on my own test,the feeling was amazing,it's out of this world!

Anyway,I'm doing great,never felt greater.No nausea alhamdulillah.I can still cook and do housework as usual.Everything is normal except that i become so sleepy after lunch.And there's a new pimple appearing almost daily :( I have no craving(yet;p)and eat almost everything.Everyone experiences things differently kan?Family kat msia pulak kecoh tanye ade nak mkn apa2 tak?Balik nie saya mintak macam-macam ya.Bukan lah pregnancy craving,tapi dah almost 1.5 years tak balik,pisang goreng pon rindu ok ;p The Frauenarztin says everything is ok :)We were so lucky that she was willing to speak English with me!Kalau tak mmg depends on hubby lah to translate as my Deutsch is very basic.Hubby ckp baby nie kene belajar Deutsch nanti ;p Hubby lawak la.He kept asking the dr if the baby is really "there".

Then comes to the not so happy news.I am going back to Malaysia this Friday.Yerp,alone :( Hopefully visa siap cepat so that hubby can see my tummy growing.
I am hoping everything will be going well and we will have a healthy baby for the summer of 2010.Pray for us,danke!

Been a while since the last food entry.
We had a quiet dinner @home on hubby's birthday.Why did i say quiet?Sebab both of us were starving,lapar sgt,mkn tak berckp ok ;p Hubby ckp he's going to eat one whole chicken,guess what,he really did.Yerp,i'm married to a monster hahaha.

Over the weekend,there's a potluck party with the rest of die Augsburger to celebrate December babies.Did i tell you the Augsburgers can really cook?We had ayam coke,ayam paprik,ayam rosemary,kari ikan,mee bandung,vegetarish satay,popia basah,smoked salmon bruschetta and cheese cakes.The birthday girl prepared her own mocha cheese cake and i brought along New York Cheese cake with strawberry topping.Semua sibuk makan,tade gambar food pon!;p



Since a week before raya haji,every weekend ade makan2,sukee!There's one house warming tomorrow and another makan-makan next week yeayy!

26 years young!

My darling husband turned 26 on Wednesday(16.12)!!

p/s: i have so many things to write here(Barcelona day 3,our friends visit,hubby's birthday celebration) but a housewife can be very busy too.Till later,enjoy the long weekend guys!

Rindunya kelate!Selalunya right after ambil daging,my ma terus goreng,bakar,buat soup,singgang,mkn perut,paru,sedap la haiwan nie ;p.This year alhamdulillah beraya with hubby but basically macam tak raya lah.Abg needs to be in lab dari pagi sampai late afternoon esok,5pm pon ade meeting lagi.Owh well,my arms still sakit sebab main Wii melampau,so i have all the excuses to serve simple meal esok.Roti jala jer kot,kalau tak larat,roti+kari hihi.

It's been a while eh since my last update.Sgt busy,what's with the dissertation,raya and packing.Tapi the first two dah siap,tinggal lagi nak packing and shopping pulak.

Celebrating Eid in London was not that bad,our 4th raya,tapi baru 2nd time celebrate sama2.
So,pagi raya to High Commission,Belgrave Square for Solat Raya,1o mins away from home,sib baik!Ade tv3,penat kami posing,tapi tak masuk Buletin Utama pon huhu,over acted kot ye =p After solat,ajak friends to come over,mkn sket,lepak2,main cards,main Wii and solat zohor before heading to our duta's open house.

So that was the first day of Syawal,came monday,habis kaki tangan tercabut because my first draft needed tons of amendments =( I could not have made it without hub's help and support.Oooo on Friday, the submission day kan,we both slept for only 3 hrs,tapi x rasa mengantok langsung sebab i was damn excited it was over =p Tanye hubs,kat mana nak dinner,konon to celebrate la kan.Tapi die ckp nak mkn isteri masak lah!Nampak sgt dah berapa hari i tak masak proper dinner hahaha,sorry abg :p

So,that's it, I'm moving out this Wednesday,sedih pulak.
Except for the expensive house rental(in central),London is really really a nice place to live in kehkeh.
Our 2-bedrooms flat is priced at GBP350/week,i wish i could have saved more for shopping and whatnot,tapi being close to the school adalah sgt convenient,so pejam mata lah.
No more bus sekolah 345/49 or quick escapes to the Oxford St or Knightsbridge after few hours of stressing Cadence and TCAD labs lah lepas nie sob sob.Hubs,boleh tak nak dtg mase boxing day nanti?:pI guess this is my final post from Parkgate Road,London.

Just bare with me,i'm in the mood to blog.Anniversary is the time of the year.It holds more significance than my own birthday,so i better write this down.

Tuesday: Took a cab @ 330am to Victoria and then a coach to Stansted.Yerp,hear me right,it's 330AM.Sgt letih+mengantuk,so i turned into one cranky bunny,bukan baby jer moody kalau x cukup tido tau :p kesian hubby,but he's lucky enough i didnot ask to be carried.We were on different flights though.His departed an hour earlier,but when i got to see him again few hrs later at Munich Airport,rase macam lamenye tak jumpe:p.Mengade kan?biasalah, kededek my middle name.We safely arrived rumah Augsburg by noon.

Wednesday: Anniversary-Day!Since we're still exhausted,malas nak jln jauh.Initial plan was Lindau(BodenSee kot),tapi we changed it to Rothenburg ob der Tauber,a very very nice medieval city,and it's just 2.5hrs from Augsburg.I just love this old town!Beautifully ornamented Patrican houses are every where and very well preserved.Just look at these photos,the buildings are just lovely kan?The not-so-nice thing about this trip was our connection train was verspaetung(delayed) for more than an hour and we were stranded at this God-knows-where pekan cowboy,seriously rase macam Texas. Thanks to DB,by the time sampai rumah, semua kedai dah tutup(all shops closed @8pm).So no special dinner on this super special day,share sekotak instant pasta je kami huhu,kesian kan?

Thursday: In this scorching summer heat,i would detest any cooking that required more than half an hour to prepare.Mandi kat dapor nanti.So,we just go for something simple but delectable like these.......

Starter: Hot honey wings(tak pedas pon;p)

Main: Grilled Lemon Chicken with Radish salad,Sweet Corn and Ciabatta
(ciabbata nie beli siap,buat sendiri mau 3 jam baru siap:p)

Dessert: Apple Crumble with Custard

Ramadhan Mubarak

Kami dah start berpuasa hari nie(jumaat),awal lah sehari dari London and Msia. Semoga Ramadhan ini dirahmati Allah dan lebih baik dari sebelum2 nya.After 2 tahun puasa kat Msia semula(2006/2007),this time berpuasa jauh lagi.Of course saya rindu berpuasa di Msia,but somehow puasa di perantauan nie,byk pembaziran dpt dielakkan.No expensive ramadhan buffet or pembaziran di pasar ramadhan berlaku.So let spend and eat wisely,hayati nikmat berpuasa.Allah wishes us to make use of the blessing He creates,but forbids us to waste them.

3rd wedding anniversary

Dear hubby,
I don't know how are we going to be in the next 20 or 50 years,but i will definitely love you each and every single day for the rest of my life.Happy 3 rd anniversary dek!

No fancy celebration,having hubby here is more than i could ask for.
Bgn pagi tadi terus masak nasi lemak,ingatkan nak berpicnic.
Tapi dah siap packing semua hujan pulak lol.so kitorang berpicnic dlm rumah la huhu.Birthday present hubby tanye nak ape,saya ckp hmmm kasut saja,so,i got a pair from Aldo.Weekend nie nak cari the 2nd pair,dah ade org offer:p

Spent the afternoon strolling through the Knightsbridge area,enjoying Costa's coffee and Patisserie Valerie's strawberry Gateau with housemate dearie before rushing back home as Chef of the Day aka hubby wanna prepare Creamy SmokedSalmon Pasta with Grilled Salmon and Shrimp and Pan Fried Asparagus for dinner,extra ingredients:kasih sepanjang hayat hahaha Thanks dek!

Anyway,how did we spend the break?Lepak rumah aje,did some house cleaning with hubby,pegi Ikea beli new pillow,buat coursework and tgk TV.Hubby plak dok try his bday pressie vroommm vroomm huhhh.I am one supportive wifey after all kan,layan jer hubby suke Liverpool ke,gaming ker hihi.Actually dah bosan,asik2 kasi hubby shirt la,belt la as pressie.Hubby pon kotnye dah bosan dpt bende2 macam tue hahaha.So why not bagi sth to do with his interest/hobby kan?
Sebab dok kat rumah jer kan,tgk tv jer lah.Unfortunately kat sini,MTV and CNN are the only channels in English,so kalau tgk channel lain tue,hubby lah translator nye :) .Let me warn you sth about the german's channels,kalau tiba2 di tgh hari buta,tgh tgk documentary channel,ade adegan 18sx w/o sensor sket pon tue biasalah.Hubby ckp if our children were to grow up here,kitorang tak beli TV kot,byk sgt yg tak patut tgk ;p,sakit jantung.Talking about MTV,i just knew about this dating game show called Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.I'm not sure if the show is aired in Msia or not,but i hope it is not!!It's about a bunch of lesbians and guys competing for Tila(she's a bise*ual!!),haaa show macam tue pon ade ker??!!

Anyway,semlm tak masak dinner,sebab i was out of idea nak masak ape,and hubby plak offered to dine out.We rarely makan luar kat sini sebab limited choice of halal food.Kalau keluar makan tue,our one and only choice adalah Turkish Restaurant,makan kebab.Hubby had Donner Kebab while saye pulak mkn Donner Shale or sth namanya( lupe =p)

Our new year celebration?Maybe just stay kat rumah kot.Last few years,we joined die Augsburger for new year countdown depan Rathaus(Town Hall).But since then,saya sudah tak berani nak pergi :p It's not crowd or the beer smell,but the fireworks!Burning your own firework is legal in Germany and tau tak,mase celebrate new year tue,one of the fireworks went up high and high,tapi tak meletup!Instead,it fell down,jatuh atas saye!!!Nasib tak meletup,semua org dah lari tinggalkan saya once nampak the firework tue jatuh balik,except hubby lah,who was trying to pull me Cuakk hahaha.So itulah ceritanye,will see if i have enough courage to join the crowd again tomorrow.
