Durian Buffet Balik Pulau

Ever heard of it?Just click durian.com.my semua ada;what packages do they offer(ade chalet lg should u decide to experience tido dlm dusun durian),direction to the farm,varieties of durian.

Before i got married to hubby,boleh bilang berapa ulas je makan,sekarang i can finish 2 medium sized durians at one go.Hubby jenis yg boleh makan durian one whole day tak makan nasi,so he really doesnot mind durian kampung ke,durian branded ke.Tapi 2 minggu lepas beli durian longgok for RM30,mostly tak sedap dan rosak.So hubby ckp jomlah gi balik pulau,nak beli biji2 one can simply costs at least RM20 so harus lah pegi buffet terus.FYI,branded durians ain't cheap,mostly priced at least RM15/kg.Yours truly belajar makan branded durians with colleagues and friends masa dok penang dulu,imagine my colleagues boleh pegi buffet durians masa friday lunch hour hihi.I didnt follow but i ask them to tapau a few for me.Since then bukan tak makan durian kampung,tapi kalau tak sedap terus tolak tepi buat tempoyak or sambal or masuk bubur.Branded durians so far takde jumpa lagi yg tak elok dan semuanya sedap.so tak la sakit hati bila bukak asik dpt yg rosak.Macam nie la kalau beli yg longgok,out of 5 tue,selalunya 1 je yg sedap.At this farm(and other durian stalls kat b pulau nie),you can tell them nak yg isi color ape,rasa macam mana.Each one has distinguish taste;ada yg manis,yg lemak tapi pahit,ada byk color pulak tue.Dan semua durian baru jatuh,fresh from the farm.So this is my 2nd visit to Bao Sheng durian farm,located right after Titi Kerawang,Balik Pulau.We opted for RM35/pax which excludes Ang Heh or Red Prawn(RM55 and above)sebab baru lepas demam rasa takot pulak nak mkn byk sgt,mkn sikit kan rasa tak worth it.Perfect location,lepas makan durian boleh pi berendam dlm air terjun titi kerawang.Baru lepas demam ja 3 beranak tapi habis 12 biji semua,ada berani?hew hew nasib baik tak demam balik.

Cuti Cuti Sabah part 6: Final day

hihi sampai part 6=p i've decided to write down everything worth sharing here sebab saya jugak plan this trip by referring to other blogs.

They said the peak of Kinabalu can be clearly seen before 9am,lepas tue most likely puncak die akan ditutup awan.Tapi subuh adalah sgt awal,545 dah sunrise,so after subuh join muhriz tido.Did i tell ya he is one late riser,risau dah we couldnot make it before 9am,tapi tgk2 kul 8 dah bgn,happy pulak tue,sebab semlm tido awal kot.So 3 beranak dgn tak mandinya keluar dgn gembira.

We'd decided not to proceed any further to Ranau,which is around 20km lagi dari Kundasang.Sebab hotspring hari tue dah pegi yg kat Ulu Legong,Tea Plantation some said sg palas lagi okay.So tinggal fish spa Tagal Sg Moroli,which i sorang je berminat sebab hubby penggeli hihi.So if you have time,sila panjangkan langkah ke Ranau juga.

After breakfast,we packed up and drove back to Kota Kinabalu.Arrived KK around 12pm,pusing waterfront seround,then headed straight to the terminal 2.stopped by a supermarket nak beli diapers Muhriz.Gosh dah setahun lebih dah tak beli disposable diapers sebab mmg pakaikan CD kan,tapi nie mmg nak berjalan,so terpaksa berdd,tak sukaaa!

Anyway,should you decided to bring back some frozen seafood,kat airport pon ada kedai jual.Kami tak bawa balik pon sebab sampai rumah nanti dah 10pm.MAS and AA allows their passengers to carry fresh or frozen seafood onboard,check in tak boleh.But you must pack them betul betul lah,letak dlm ice box tue then letak dlm kotak biasa selapis lagi.Paling best kalau flight ptg/tgh hari lah,boleh beli yg fresh kat pasar.Kalau tak,next to the wet market mmg ada frozen market tapi kami tak pergi but so i have no idea on the price whatsoever.

 Alhamdulillah,return trip pon ok,smooth and easy,muhriz siap berjoget dlm flight,jalan from one end to another,letih nak melayan hehe but it's okay asalkan he enjoyed the journey.So this concludes Sabah,sila la bercuti cuti di Sabah,there's so much to be seen!

Cuti Cuti Sabah part 5: Desa Cattle Dairy Farm

A must visit place if you're in Kundasang!Hihi rasa macam in a different country.Hubby kenapa lah tak pernah bawa saya gi dairy farm masa kat Deutschland dulu?6 years kat sana tak pernah tgk pon lembu Bayern,eh ker pernah?Anyway,never occured in my mind that our own country pon ada this kind of countryside,masyaAllah cantik sgt with Mount Kinabalu on the background,angin sejuk,lembu gemokk.Tapi muhriz tak sejuk,tak boleh dipakaikan sweater,nanti die marah suruh bukak.Tido mlm mama pakaikan socks kejap je,die terjaga die bukak,i know you were baked in Deutschland sayang,sejuk sket2 buat dekk je -__-

If you would like to see the milking process,visit this place from 3pm onward.Tapi bila semua lembu pakat beratur nak pump susu(hehe sounds familiar ibu2 menyusukan?;p) kat field mmg tak banyak lah.We left around 415pm,tapi still lembu2 dok beratur,yg dah siap pump melompat keriangan,macam kita lah!kalau breast engorged jadi restless ooo.Entrance fee is RM3/person.Fresh milk pon ada jual.1L for RM5 je,murah la sikit dari kat supermarket.

Cuti Cuti Sabah part 4: Kinabalu Park & Kundasang War Memorial

After masak breakfast & bekal, En Azli,the car owner sampai hantar kereta.Berlegar sana sini,dgn dudu mengamok sebab kene bgn awal hihi,10am baru bertolak.Since dah bace dan dgr org bercerita,jalan from Kota Kinabalu to Kinabalu park nie agak challenging,mmg dah prepare mental dan physical lah hahaha.Sebelum nie sebab nie lah saya tanak ke area highland nie,takot Muhriz cranky dlm kereta.Mmg selalu lalu jalan Grik-Baling,yg actually kurang sikit dahsyat je dari jalan to Kinabalu Park nie,tapi lalu awal pagi,die still tido.Tapi kan,kite plan je,tgk tgk Allah mmg permudahkan urusan kami,si kecik nie mmg tido all the way,lepas Teluk Likas to Pekan Nabalu die pengsan!On the way balik pon macam tue juga hehe.

So from KK,you'll pass by Likas,Tuaran,Tamparuli jalan ok lagi.After Tamparuli nie,please be prepare,mmg jalan mendaki,very few lorong melintas,sharp corners on steep slope and no to mention drivers yg melintas where they shouldnot have.So please be extra careful.Owh by the way,tak singgah pon Tamparuli Suspension Bridge,sebab kesayangan tgh lena kan.After 1hrs and 15 mins,we reached Pekan Nabalu.Along the road tue mmg view sgt breathtaking,the first moment i saw Mount Kinabalu,i was like,MasyaAllah.....it's so ginormous!Besar sgt!Tapi masa tue dah around 11am+,so peak die mmg covered by cloud lah but that's ok,esok pagi ada lagi.Byw,according to Garmin,this pekan nabalu is only 8km to Kinabalu Park.Ada menara utk view the scenery tapi dgn super active kiddo nie mmg tak berani naik weh.Sini baanyak jual souveniers,tapi kitorang beli fridge magnets je and some fruits,nanas die dapp,manis!Dah jalan pusing2 nasib dah biasa kalau tak sure nak termuntah,makan nenas adalah relieving,try lah hehee.

Since it was not even 12pm,nak check in pon macam over awal pulak.Kinabalu Park entrance is just 300m from our chalet,so we decided to check it out.Paid RM3/person at the gate and you need to drive 4.5km to reach the Timpohon Gate,this is the starting point for the hikers.Dlm tue mmg takde apa lah,resort die adalah but other than that,mmg takde ape,view mount kinabalu lagi cantik dari tempat lain tapi ada satu viewing area,kitorang singgah jer. bergusti struggle dgn anak nak ambil gambar =p

Boring jugak kat situ,actually tak pegi pon takpe kot =p.12pm decided pegi balik ke chalet,tgk2 room dah ready so had a break,230pm baru keluar balik to Desa Cattle Dairy Farm,this one deserve a special entry because i so love this place,gambar paling byk kat sini ahahaha.

After Desa Cattle,we hurried to Kundasang War Memorial,senang je nak jumpa.If you're coming from Kinabalu Park,nanti akan sampai roundabout,dari situ dah nampak pekan Kundasang,take left exit,ada Alliance Bank,the memorial entrance is just next to it.Desa Cattle pulak on the same road juga tapi jalan je lagi few km nanti jumpa signboard.Sampai memorial dah hujan,dah la 430pm dah,masuk jugak la seround,fee is RM2/person.This memorial was built to honor 2300 British and Australian prisoners of war who died during the death march.Yes,only 6 survived the march and do you know how long they had to walk through the jungle,eating whatever they could find?Kalau tak silap dlm 200+km,from Ranau to Sandakan.It consists of 3 different gardens to represent 3 nationalities;English,Australia and Borneo(for the people of Borneo who help the POW).So kat sini bukan kubur,kubur diorang somewhere else,in Sandakan kot.

Keluar dari sini rasa lapar,teringat kak ila cakap ada chicken wings kat restaurant Hidayah,panas2 makan chicken wings best juga.My son makan bekal die lah,die nasi+telor dadar pon ok suka sgt.5pm dah rasa macam nak gelap,615pm dah maghrib huhu macam time winter lah pulak.Jadinya decide nak dinner after ishak(730pm) but little that we knew kedai sini tutup pukul 8mlm.So make sure kalau nak cari dinner keluar awal sikit,kitorang tu nasib baik kedai tue kesian kot,ambil jugak lah order.Lupa apa nama ke tue tapi depan masjid atas bukit tue ada 2 kedai halal,hidayah and this one.Balik dinner mmg pengsan terus so mmg lah balik chalet nak tido semata mata.Btw,at jresidence nie,not even tv1 dapat.But they provide you a few DVD player+DVDs,ada cartoon jugak.Tapi satu pon tak sempat tgk habis.
